Glenire Stud was founded in 1984, based mainly on Downland and Weston bloodlines. With the influence of Tetworth Copper King Imp,this has produced movement & type. Though only a small stud ponies bred at Glenire have been winners in the show ring and have also produced successful progeny. Emphasis is placed on good temperament excellent moving ponies that are unmistakably welsh.
We are situated at Healesville in the picturesque Yarra Valley, conveniently located one hour from Melbourne. Visitors are most welcome to come and visit us and the ponies at anytime phone call first please.
